Community investigations
Join the investigation.
Experienced detectives can draft a case file for WebPo. If it holds up, it is published with your name on it.
Who can investigate
Anyone with a WebPo certificate, or 200 leaderboard points from the Daily Crime. You can have up to 3 investigations waiting for review.
The rules of evidence
- Only look at what any visitor can see. Never log in, fill in real forms, or test for security holes.
- Test on a phone and a computer, and note the date you tested.
- Be fair: write what the site gets right, too.
- Describe problems, not people. No insults, no guesses about motives.
- WebPo re-checks everything before publishing, and the owner gets 7 days to reply first.
